Netflix Instant Download FAQ
Will I still get DVDs?
Yes. All Netflix plans that feature unlimited instant watching include both DVDs and instant
watching. Your monthly plan will continue to include as many DVDs as before.
How will my plan change?
Your plan doesn't change. The
monthly price stays the same and you get the same number of DVDs as before.
Watching movies and TV episodes on your TV via a Netflix ready device is
included in plans with unlimited instant
watching at no additional cost.
What does this cost?
Everything you watch comes included in your
existing Netflix plan at no extra charge. Like Netflix DVD delivery, with
instant movies and TV episodes streamed to your TV via your device there are no
late fees, no per-view fees, and no return or expiration dates. The price of
each Netflix ready device varies and is set by the manufacturer. It's a one-time
purchase. Once you buy the device, it's yours to keep.
How many choices are available to
download?
There are over 10,000 instant watching choices, but very few are new
releases. So instant watching is a great supplement to Netflix's DVD catalog of
100,000 titles, but it is not a replacement. You will want to use both. Instant
movies and TV episodes give you maximum spontaneity and DVDs give you maximum
choice.
Why aren't all the movies and TV episodes I can get on DVD
available to stream to my TV?
While movie studios and television networks have
great flexibility in what they offer on DVD, there are many limits to what they
can provide for instant watching due to long standing contractual obligations.
Netflix's library of instant watching choices is growing every month, but there will
be much greater selection available on DVD for a long time to come.
How do choices for Netflix ready devices differ from instant watching on the

the PC can be streamed to the TV via a Netflix ready device. Are there limits on
